Abstract

Antagonistic bacteria, designated ĐKB1, ĐKB2, ĐKP1, were isolated from solanaceous and legume rhizosphere and selected as biocontrol agent based on their ability to decrease incidence of Ralstonia solanacearum. These strains were assess the exist together in the same nutrient medium and powder carrier and effect on growth and development of pepper and groundnut in mix and single condition. The results show that selected antagonistic bacteria could exist together in the same peat carrier without harmful affecting on their growth, development and biological activity. Mix of strains (ĐKB1, ĐKB2 and ĐKP1) of potential antagonistic bacteria have possitive effect on growth, development and reduced bacterial wilt disease of pepper and groundnut were 87.5% while single of strain (ĐKB1 or ĐKB2 or ĐKP1) were from 12.5 to 50%. Thus, biological product included mix of antagonistic bacteria has good effect on suppression of disease of bacterial wilt caused by R. solanacearum than single form.
